13.6 @ 104 - adjusted launch technique...same MPH :confused:

finally i cut a half-decent 60'
60' - 2.206
1/4 - 13.312 @ 106.26

i couldn't back it up so i don't know if it counts...my next run i tried to duplicate my launch technique, but it didn't really work

I ran the exact same time as rasheed.. cept i was on DRs... but i even had the same 60' and i missed 3rd gear

Congrats Rasheed, looks like your SRT has been improving since the last time we spoke....You definately have the mods to get that thing way into the 12's, just keep working at it...BTW Are you coming to the meet Friday night?

I wish I could...but my last day of work is Friday, and instead of driving through the night I was gonna head out 5AM Saturday morning so I can get home around 8PM that night. I can't wait to come back east!!!

Getting slicks doesn't mean you're gonna break axles. You have the potential of snapping something launching with any tire. Just look at all that hop you get with streets. Get DRs or Slicks and your hop will be gone :woot:

Very tru...i know people have been making many passes with slicks and the axles hold fine, but I'm gonna keep it safe till we fix my g/f's old neon so I won't be stuck and not be able to get to work if I have a bad experience...hahaha. However, if someone happens to be at Atco on a Thursday and has some M/T slicks I would gladly bolt them on for a couple passes!!!

I'm slowly migrating to Howards arena of "real racing"

Once I hit 12s I'll retire from the drag strip and start a new life on the road course!
