Since there have been some changes to the site, some, if not all of you have seen "Trader Rating (0)" under there names when they post or when they look at their profile. I'm sure most of you know how to use this since it is on other forums, but I'm going to explain how to use it anyway.

When you buy, sell, or trade something on the forums, everyone has atleast alittle doubt about getting the part they bought or if it is in good condition when you recieve it or if the buyer will send you the money for what he bought. Trader Ratings give you a great deal of insite on who you are dealing with. Everyone has seen posts about scammers and I know everyone wants to avoid them as much as possible, and that is what this is for.

When you have finished a transaction with another member on the SRT-4mation, click on the (0) (Always marked in Red or Green) under the forum name of the person to rate how easy it was to work with this person. When the screen comes up, Click on Summit Feedback and you will be asked how easy this person was to work with, and you can comment on anything, good or bad, that went on during the sale. The most important thing about it is when you see the pulldown window for Overall Experience You can either give the person a +1 (For a good seller/buyer/trader) -0- (If there were some problems, but overall, it wasn't bad) or a -1 (If buyer/seller/trader didn't ship the product or shipped a damaged product or you were possible scammed or anything else that went seriously wrong).

If a -1 was givin to the seller, the Admins on the forums are automaticly contacted and will help deal with the problem.

The Admins on this site still warn to "Buy at your own Risk" on the forums, but many people buy and sell on the forums everyday and usually, without any problems. Most of the people here have no intention of screwing anybody, and just to make sure, the Trader Rating System helps to keep the scammers away.

I suggest that anyone who buys/sells/trades from someone uses the system for the protection of other buyers/sellers/traders on the forums. If anyone has any questions about this system, or swapmeet in general, feel free to post up, or pm me.
