Anyone still have their Neons?
My new whip:
91 Fox. It’s going to be ready for the spring I hope.
I purchased it from my Buddys father. He has had it since 1993 as a daily driver.
Body and interior is awesome. Has new paint (Lexus Millennium Silver)
Mild Suspension mods
Full exhaust from headers back
5 Speed.
Host of others that I dont want to type.
Came with a spare set of Ponies.
My objectives are a crate short block with a Trick Flow Top End and Cam this season coming up.
The following season I am going to possibly look into a Blower (Paxton / Vortec) or a Turbo kit.

looks nice and clean, brah. good luck with it! at the moment, i'm debating how important a tuner car is to me. stick with the evo or get a golf tdi...

Fun, fun, fun!! Can we hold hands?
That is an option, I suppose. If I did that, I'd at least just take out the cams. For some reason ever since they were installed, I've been getting horrible gas milage. I've been getting around 15 mpg. Tuner said he just has to adjust a few things, so I went back to get it retuned last week, and he asked me if it's mostly around town driving I did, and I told him yes, and he said 16 mpg is about what the car gets from the factory around town, and I told him before the tune I still had the same driving habits and I got at least 20 mpg, and I think he kinda blew it off.
But still, people claim to get close to 50mpg with the TDi, which is HUGE. I'm kind of getting tired of the loud exhaust all of the time, and the minimal features. Technology inside these newer cars is starting to be really tempting to upgrade. Sound systems are a lot better, and I don't feel like rolling around with a woofer in my trunk. I love the look of the Golf. I've liked it since it came out, and I never get tired of seeing them. Something just makes me feel like it's time for a change.
