    Mod question

What's up guys, I'm new to the srt-4 game, had mine for almost 2 weeks now. I have a mopar stage 1 ecu with a wastegate actuator at 15lbs, an intake, and 3" downpipe. I'm thinking about getting the mpx intercooler and upper hard pipe with bov and block off plate. Now if I get that, will I need a tune? Or will my mopar stage 1 ecu manage it? I don't have a wideband or anything yet to read my afrs, I was going to get that later on after I get mpx's 3" full exhaust.

Another question say I get both the intercooler with hard pipes and the full 3" exhaust from o2 housing to the back, I will need a re-tune right?

Should not need a tune.. would not hurt to get a diablosport and a wideband so you can do some minor tuning yourself .. but plenty of people run full boltons with no tune. I will actually have an SAFCII and AEM wideband I can hook you up with after I get a new sensor for my NGK wideband.

I didnt have a tune until I changed my fuel pump. It was running rich when I went to the walbro so I got the dsp and tune. ran like a dream for a long time.

So you had full bolt ons without a tune and you were good too?

All of the mods you stated you plan on doing do not require a tune, now.....a wide band would DEFINITELY be something you'd want especially if you plan to keep on modding, it's a useful tool for tuning, to help moniter A/Fs but....with your current setup and again the mods you listed you won't need a tune, you'll be fine, it's when you really start messing with the fuel stuff that you need to worry about tuning and A/Fs and knock and what not such as bigger injectors, then you'd want a piggy back(safc for example) or a Diablosport Predator.

My next mod was going to be a front mount and hard piping, but do you think i should get exhaust first because I was going to get the MPx full exhaust with the extra o2 bung for a wideband, and then the intercooler and hard piping?
