    New from Dallas

    Howdy!
I bought a 2004 Silver SRT-4 a couple of weeks ago and having a blast!
My previous car was a 2006 Civic 4-door automatic so needless to say it's a huge difference. My civic was handed down to my daughter which gave me the perfect opportunity buy a another sensible 4 cylinder 4 door car for myself, right?
The SRT seems to be in pretty good shape. It has AEM CAI and Mopar BOV but otherwise appears to be stock.
I've had the valve cover gasket and spark plugs replaced, made the CAI "right" by replacing the $5 Advance Auto rubber coupler/reducer with a silicone one, replaced a tire, fixed the TIP sensor (rubber was torn), adjusted parking brake, sealed leaky tail light, and done other little things.
Getting her back in shape and learning at the same time!

welcome bud ..not too much on here but you can still learn a few things from browsing around.. nice car though , judging by the tinted windows and amber fogs I assume it was owned by a teen/low 20's driver.. but looks like a solid car from what i can see . im sure youre aware but it looks like you have condensation in your headlight(s) as well .. quick fix is to dry it out with a blowdryer and try to find the spot they are leaking and seal with super glue or some sort of adhesive. enjoy your stay

Thanks. Don't know who owned the car before but there are some signs of abuse. For example the intake being patched up with a section cut from an antifreeze bottle! Also "University of Texas Arlington" and "Lakers" stickers on back window.
The headlights or just hazy on the outside so I plan to wet sand/buff it shiny soon.
The CarFax paints an interesting picture.
First owner had it from 2003 to 2007, mileage 57K.
Second owner had it only 7 months, then was repossessed (college kid?), mileage now 67K.
From 2008 to 2011 it appears to have been a fleet vehicle for a Dodge dealership, ending up being sold in April of 2011 with 108K miles, probably at auction because I bought it from a small car lot. At least there are entries for inspections, maintenance, and oil changes though.
