    Short block

Was wondering if any of you have a DCR or FM small block in your car....? I am considering buying a DCR option A or FM enforcer small block down the road and I just wanted to see if anyone had opinions or advice.

Thanks Chris....I was leaning towards FM being they are much closer and from talking with Scott a few times he really knows his shit. I am surprised nobody on here has had either motors. I know Darooke had DCR option B but he sold his....

You are probably right i havent spoken to Scott since last summer, but whats funny is I feel like I would trust scott more to do some of the work.... For now I am just trying to get some ideas. i need new tires and want to do some suspension work next. Then i may try to grab a bigger turbo and slap it on with a new motor. I guess first Ii should try to find a "real" job/career....

i'm actively shopping for a new short block, Malevolent Motorsports has a great price and uses DCR parts (currently my 2nd choice), but i'll probably go with the MAP options (possibly the parts and build/install it myself-- first time for everything)

too bad there isn't a good shop local

Agreed about there not being any more good local shops... I think I will eventually go to FM for a motor swap. First i have to finish paying the car off and I want to collect some more parts...big turbo/fuel mods. I checked out the Malovent Motorsports page and I wasnt to thrilled with their website.....If i were to just order rebuild parts I would purchase from Modern Performance, as I purchase everything else from them as it is.

As soon as my crank comes back i'll place my map order.. FM is a good choice, and to far for my car in its current condition. :-(
