    best race fuel?

whats the safest best race fuel u can use on our cars for hom? i heard the torco additive isnt bad if u mix it with 10 gallons of gas it will give u 104 octane. what do u guys use? and where do u get it? any info appreciated

octane booster will not let you hold hom...i droped out of hom with 100 octane i would recommend 110 or just do c16 which is 116...they are all fine to use in your car its not going to hurt anything significantly

Stage 2 Hom? Or stg 3 Hom?? On stg2 it will hold with 100 octane no problem, Stage 3 is more pickey and will require some 110 or C16..

c16 isn't too great for o2 sensors, no. but if you only run it every once it a while it's not so bad.

    1. No reason to run Race Fuel on a daily basis. You wont hook up with pump piss let alone race fuel.
    2. At $7+ a gallon, its redic to run on a daily basis.
    3. Your o2 sensors are going to F-up since racefuel IS leaded fuel. This is why it burns better.
    4. There us no "best" of anything. Its what you / your car prefers.

X2. Can't agree with you more. I remember filling up with about 5-6 gallons of 100 octane when i ran on street tires like 2-3 years ago. Not worth it, and i still ran 13's. street tires+ spending extra $$$ on race fuel= huge waste! Slicks or go home is how i see it for this car.

dude you trying to race me for 100 dollars ¿? im down ill even use pump!! but im confused with this whole thread 100 octane wont hold stage 3 hom it didnt in my car but who knows 110 octane is perfect for you...dude its like 8-10 a gallon now...also and the track i filled my car with 2 gallons on 110 it cost like 22 and after 4 passes i was at the half gallon light again... so your going to be wasting a lot of money and gas and if you lose...

Having slicks on the street is retarted! Thats a big waste of tire that is meant to be used at the strip only. Keep it to the track.. / End thread
