i may be forgetting some stuff but the car runs/drives very fast but it has a dtec set up and they stold the gameboy so the car lost the tune. it has all the dtec connections.... THE CAR STARTED TO SMOKE...IT RUNS/DRIVES GREAT WITH LOTS OF POWER BUT IT SMOKES...I JUST DROPPED THE PRICE TO SELL FAST.. NO FINANCING AVAILABE ANY MORE

depends what color smoke it is, and the specifics of the problem. blue smoke could be from the turbo seal to the piston rings, and white smoke could be from a blown head gasket to a cracked cylinder head

Maybe the messed with it before they took the gameboy but I'm telling you the gameboy doesn't store the tune. All it does is act as a display for the unit as well as a device for you to make adjustments. The brain that's hidden in the car somewhere is what stores the tune. Sounds like the cars just starting to show signs of abuse or neglect. :2cents:

its white smoke...can it be the head gasket even tho its not mixing the coolant with oil?
a 03 salvage one goes for more then that haa.......the price i have is more then fair considering the year/miles/ parts it has.. if some one dont buy ill fix
im a dealer and i have owned this srt for almost a year..i never raced/tracked this car since i have owned it thoes who know me know the car spends most of its time in my garage...but i do not know about the previous owner i purchased the car from a honda dealer and it was running perfect and it still do run great just with smoke
not quite sure...im not even 100% sure the problem with my car was the head gasket, but my oil and coolant was mixed. looked like a latte under my valve cover and when i changed my oil. i'm hoping it was just the head gasket, because that job was a bitch, but not as expensive as a cylinder head

considering that worst cast senario is that the long block is shot 5k is actually a reasonable offer since 3-5k would have to be put into the car. when a car has a serious problem like this it's very hard to get a decent amount for it.
well if there are searious buyers i will fix the car $11,500 considering what people ask for 03-04's what do ya think?
