Mini me's been hounding me for a gas powered one for a while. This might be a good alternative cause the ones they sell at like Walmart/ToysRus suck ass.

No pics, bc I do not have a digital Camera.

    Traxxas E-MAXX
Duratraxx Dual Charger with LCD Screen
    2 Venom 8.4v 7 cell 4200mah Batteries
8 Venom AA batteries for the remote
2 Traxxas Connectors to connect the batteries to the charger

    Total was $620

If it were me I would not start Mini Munky on a gas car. They are a lot of work and require a lot of tuning and maintenance.

Yeah I have one already and he's always wanting to play with it but its too delicate. Hell I break it almost every time I bring it out LoL. I figured a trucks a lil more durable but I still didn't wanna spend the money on a gas powered one. I'll have to look into one of these instead.

Yeah the trucks are more durable. It's expensive to start but the electrics are so much easier and being waterproof Mini Munky can drive it wherever and whenever he wants.

Look at the duratraxx evader st.... its a truck, bought it for my little cousin as his first rc truck. he beats the crap out of it, hasnt broken anything in 2 years. plus its pretty loaded with options from the factory and they come ready to run....http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...1p?&I=LZ0776**

Ah man that is awesome. I didn't know that.

The only thing about getting a Duratrax is aftermarket support. Literally every single hobbby shop carries Traxxas parts, so instead of always having to order parts online and wait, you can just go to the shop and buy what you need.
