i have a nitro HPI truck with accessories if interested..replaced about 100 bucks worth of parts last yr..witha new painted blue and black truck body... lmk

Nah I have to get out of the Nitro game, thanks anyway. The main reason why I need/want electric is because of my new Boxer pup. He loves chasing the car around which is great exercise for him and fun for me. But I do not want the exhaust fumes getting in his eyes nor do I want him inhaling it.
Thanks for the offer though.
aww thats awesome..pics of pup or ban haha.. no problem dude..I DOO have a electric Traxxas Stampede Truck.. I can include the two battery packs, charger and remote..only thing u need is a new stamepe body!! Let me know. I barley used it bc I wanted nitro lol

heyy Frank. correct stampede is a 2x4 by Traxxas. It has the stock motor but i put different mag wheels on it. I can inlcude the two battery packs, the remote, the charger, the original wheels, and than the original boxes for the truck itself as well as the charger...looking for around $180..lmk what you think!

My cousin used to own a hobby shop on Staten Island. I could have hooked you up!!
Don't get electric, I already made that mistake.

Thanks for the help everyone. I broke down and bought a new E-Maxx today.
hit up supermario

How does it perform for an electric one? I always heard they don't have the speed/range of a gas powered model. Any truth?

Well I am comparing it to my Revo with a Pico .26 motor so it's not a fair comparison.
BUT...
I am using Venom 8.4V 7 Cell 4200 MAH batteries. The truck ran hard for about 15-18 minutes and was done at around 25 minutes. It is not as fast as a gas truck. I would say it's similar to the old T-Maxx with the 2.5 motor in it. The 3.3 motor is completely different.
Overall I am very happy for the simplicity of it. Charge the batteries and go. No tuning, much less maintence, much less clean up and WATERPROOF.
If I want more power I will go with a brushless motor set-up which will provide significant gains. Like going from a stock turbo to a 50trim.
As far as range, it has the same range. Oh and I like having reverse too.
