This is how I did mine, tried solid black but it was too dark so I sanded the spokes to get this effect. Didn't bother w/clear as these are just used for snow tires (have Borbet 17x7s for Summer tires)

if you have a flame red and your painting the stockers, black with red lip is THE way to go !!!

i painted mine i always get complements on them
all i did was primer-wet sand with 1500 then paint just make sure you use good paint i used VHT paint
