Hey Guys I'm new with the srt-4mation and I live in the allentown area and I was wondering about the meets and stuff. Like what happens during the weekly meet and would it be worth the 2 hour or so drive for me. Also when is there going to be a big meet. The previous owner of my car had it registered on here and told me a lot of good stuff about the site I'm just curious as to what happens at the meets. Thanks!

Welcome. We meet every Tuesday. http://www.srt-4mation.com/showthread.php?t=17022
There are about 20 neons a night there if not more.
welcome man...feel free to ask any questions because there is always someone that can answer it for you
I have the system in my car hooked up to a gameboy. it worked when we bought the car but now its not working i'm not sure if its the wiring or if its the gameboy. I know this is the kind of problem most people have to look at to see whats wrong but just wondering if anyone has had any similar problems or advice
Dtec= Fail... Usually the head unit takes a dump. Turbo XS discontinued them, so parts are getting hard to find by the day. Get a SAFC II or Neo.
Just a word of advice, if the car had a dtec, then odds are it had a bunch of mods done to it. Have it checked over by someone that knows the car well, also go to a dodge dealer and give them the Vin number and have them check what type of service history it has had.
Does it have a return line and are the upper and lower heat shields on the manifold / turbo housing gone?
Who used to own the car?
BTW WELCOME!!:yay:
since i had the car the dtec has been working and just recently when i turn the gameboy on it just says gameboy, it is tuned for the stage 3 turbo thats on it, and dont know if it got erased do to the dtec not working, the car still runs great. it has had work done to it such as the all stage 3 so the stock heat shields arent on, i know everything else thats on it.
Gotcha. If your running a full stage 3 setup with the stage 3 wastegate, I would just remove the dtec completely, and let the PCM do all the work. The dtec was probably in there to lean it out because it is probably running rich.
Do you have the Turbo Toys option installed?
Well since you have Alky injection per your other post keep the fuel controller. :D
Stage 3 comes in two diffrent kits. With and without toys. If you dont have toys, contact Jay at N2MB. He has a toybox for the stage 3 PCM's.
If you didnt have the alky injection I would say to remove the fuel controller because the Stage 3 setup is good for 11's with bolt on's with no Fuel controler. Stage 3 is there so you dont have to tune, I would just leave it that way....
Not understanding "the looks". The Mopar Turbo toys is jsut an insert that goes in the slot under the radio. And the N2MB toybox is just a box that replicates the toys option. Its not ment for looks, it has actual functionality.
Of course its worth the money. If you have a fuel controller you have to write a map for a street tune, and a race fuel tune. With the toys option, you dump in the race fuel, put it into High octane mod, and your good to go.. No hassles.
I only wish I had the stage 3 kit installed when I purchased the car new. I said that I wasnt looking to mod it so I turned down the offer everytime he tried to sell it to me.
I kick myself in the ass because I wiggled the price down to 21k from 24. Adding the toys option would have brought the car up to 25K including the install.
