the place is opened until 12, so it'll have to be no later than 9-10pm if you want plenty of time to race.

we were thinking about going there after they opened but when GPNY opened up, this is much closer and turns out to be better anyway

For me GPNY is further but worth the trip. V17 is a disco kiddy playland.

it is a nice facility. too bad no one wants to travel up to an official meet.
we (locals) just meet on a spontaneous basis.

it's also 5 min from where i live.

Scott contacted me the other day regarding a new Track that has been opened. He is actually the Technology director there.

Its called Monticello Motor club. Yes in Monticello NY

They have a track day on 10/24. Expensive, but its a nice road course.. I think its $325 for the day, but includes a catered lunch and instructors...Yadda Yadda. That is my birthday, I may attend!

i looks like a huge facility. i would like to check it out. but funds are short right now....i guess i have to save a bit to play.

Have no clue if they are recruiting new people. I will inquire with Scott when i talk to him next.

Yea, the fee's are very expensive, and the up-keep of the membership is just as bad. This is one thing I dont understand. It's like a golf course.... You pay $125,000 for a membership, and still have to pay $8,000 a year to hold that membership. The only good is if you hold the membership for long enough, you can cash in the equity on it when you resign as a member....

Yea, my buddy has driven is LS1 RX7 on it, and says its a great track. He has also taken a few Ferrari's out as well that the club owns....
