spring check up? wtf?
Im thinking of heading over there for a Spring check up/maintenance, just wanted to know if anyone had any feedback?
yeah, im one of the few who has a stock car and a valid warranty, :)
and so that means what? you like wasting your money on $200 "tune ups"?
no..they have alot of free services to look over the car.. my warranty is up in Dec 08, so I figured Id let them look it over before its up to see if anything is wrong and have it replaced under warranty..heres the list.. http://www.fivestardealers.com/baysi...?services=car&
anyway, back to the topic, have you been there before?
lol ok good luck with that.
i took my car there once when i was having transmission problems. i drove into the service area. the service manager looked at me, looked at my car, and told me to leave. he refused to even look at the car because i had rims and a cf hood. great dealer there.
Damn really? well Im hoping to make a service appointment and get it looked over, they can't give me sh!t, the car is stock..
so your saying you are getting the FREE stuff done? if so, it looks like a waste of time...
exhaust system inspection
vehicle wash
air filter inspection
check brakes
check belts
check tie rods
and a tire sale
so if they discover you need new pads or a new belt, you have to pay for it since its regular maintance, not warrenty issues. you might as well take a day off and go over the car yourself. and from Amy's experience there, they sound like pricks...who knows what they'll do to your car while you sit at home for 3.5 hours waiting for a phone call
edit: and do the oil and tranny fluid too. at least you know you did it right

I WILL NEVER, EVER GO TO BAYSIDE DODGE FOR SERVICE!
I brought in my car two years ago 'coz my idle went high (>2000 rpm). They took my car for two days and gave it back to me with a report saying that they can't duplicate the problem. The moment I picked it up, low and behold, the idle was high. I really wanted to drag their service rep. and shove his face on my instrument panel. I just went ahead and tried figuring the problem. Turns out, it was a vacuum leak from my catch can. If those idiots can't spot a vacuum leak or do warranty work on your car the right way, then don't ever bother going there.
Their parts dept. is cool though.
