i think you can probably fight the plate cover one because obviously you don't have a "black" plate cover. but i'm not sure, i just moved down here in feb myself and don't know all the traffic laws here.
I got pulled over & he gave me 2 tickets..........1 is for my 3in single exhaust & 2 for the license plate cover..........so, I was wondering if I put the stock exhaust back on & I remove the lic plate cover if I could go to court to fight it? note the ticket says exhaust system noise & p/c blk tag cover

What did he say about the exhaust that it was too loud? Did he take out a db meter and test it cuz im pretty sure he would need something besides his own personal opinion to give you that
no he didnt test anything.......he told me that he was listing to music kinda loud & he heard my exhaust over it
You cant protest a law that you already broke. And if you do, you can be charge with Perjury. Expessully the Tinted Tag cover. Who is the Judge going to belive? You? Or an Officer of the state?
I doubt the Judge is going to walk out to your car with a Decible reader. Just Pay the fine like the rest of us do with loud exhaust.
well too late I already got a court hearing for Nov 8 for the exhaust & I went to dodge & he gave me the exhaust schematic & it says that the car came mufflerless so, I got printed proof "evidence" & I'm back with dual "factory look, factory sound but not factory performance :D "

Sounds like a waste of time to me. How much are the tickets? No points either.
what if you get something from DODGE saying that srt-4's come with no mufflers and are pretty loud from the factory...maybe he's an idiot and forgot whether it was single or dual tip and you'll win that one, no promises but maybe that will help u somehow
i dont like how they just give you unclear plates for having a plate cover that covers the the bottom half of NEW JERSEY on the bottom.. half the cars in the state have unclear plates according to that rule.. i got that 1 like 5 times before i realized it was the surrounding cover that just blocked like half of 2 letters.. they are trashbags for that cuz its biased to 'sporty/loud" cars
