    McCord Powerplate

I plan on getting the needswings dp v5 and would want the McCord powerplate with it. Ive heard that theyre not so good and fail out on alot of people, anybody have input on this? also how difficult is it to hook up? is it worth it to get it

I have heard nothing but good thigns about the McCord Plate. I actually called them up to see if they rectified any problems they were having with them. They were more then helpful and very friendly, so i ordered one. Unfortunatly due to the holidays it is taking over 3 weeks to get.

I will let you know how the install goes.

I've had mine for over a year now and I have the original model. I've had it jam up a couple of times but some grease around the assembly has kept it working fine. Only issue I have is that the butterfly warps but the newer model is supposed to fix that issue.

    Good product IMO.

I should clarify that my 3 all had setscrews fall out and then the plate would stop moving which threw everything off, and 1 had a motor fail.

We've heard horror stories on the older model and only 1 so far complaint w/ the new one. No matter what, there's so much heat down there something is bound to fail if you don't routinely maintain it.

Mario, should have notified me bro. I had 3 on order already.

Yea, i'm not too convinced on any power plate to be honest. I normally try to convince customer's to stay w/ the manual plate instead. Of course its not always easy to open the pipe on the highway when asshat in the TyPe R wants to gun it.

This is the truth man. This is why I am opting for the cut out. Im tired of jacking up the car to get my fat ass under there to get the plate off.
