Pa Track Day - Sunday, November 13th 2005 - Atco Raceway

First of all...How many people would be interested in a day at Atco?

Since Atco is now open on sundays for Test & Tune, I would like to set up a day to have all the Pa SRTs go down.

Even if you don't want to run your car, its great to BS and even better to watch some racing go on.

If you want to run, you can share techniques with other SRTs, and you will have the most knowlegable people around if you should break something.

I would like to set this up for Sunday November 13th, 2005!

Not for long. :D Once those gears go in and you start getting on it a little.......:eek: 20-25 mpg. Actually, I still get 20-22 w/my Camaro w/3.73 gears :gives: so you won't be too bad off. :rolleyes:

I should be there, I'm experimenting on my old motor since the machine work is almost done on the new motor. You may get to see me drive over my crankshaft:D I really want to see if this motor will hold 35 PSI...Going to try a smaller turbo as well to see if I can get a little more power down low.

Yes it will be fun to have another srt4 track buddy at the Glen. I WANT to hit LRP for the first time (perhaps April), and then the Glen in May like last year.
As for Atco-if I'm not doing anything that weekend-I will perhaps take a road trip then and we'll meet up. :)

My local Pep Boys sells motor cycle helmets for about $100 beans. Try there if you have one close by. They're not much in the looks department...But they'll do if you just so happen to flip your 13 second srt going down a straight track...:rolleyes:

Try low 14s because for straight line runs all I have at this time is Mopar CAI and Deyeme motor / trans mounts. But yea 100.00 is not too bad.. will stop by and check em out.

I ran a friend that got one of the new 2.5l 06 WRX "TR" models. He has a down pipe and thats it. I could barely pull on him from a 5 mph roll. :jack:
That new engine with variable valve timing etc is going to be something to watch out for.. it has much much more up high then the old one did.

Here is the official plan. We will leave Neshaminy Mall (On The Border) at 8am sharp! We will then cruise to Revitup Motorsports Shop where we will pick up Scott, Ray, and whoever else is there (and you can take a look at the shop if you have never seen it!).

From there we plan to leave the shop around 8:30, and go directly to ATCO, arriving slightly after 9am. The gates will be open, but they really dont do any runs till about 10.
