In Microsoft Word?
removing watermarks is traditionally done with a clone tool

i wish I knew how to do this, too.
pretty much with the clone tool, depending on how big it is, just zoom in and clone around it inwards, it really depends where the water mark is and how thick it is but i've been able to remove any sort of watermark, the worst ones are the ones that distort the image vs just a name

maybe H can show you one of the pictures he talkin aboiut.....but the watermark that he's referring to is a circle with some words inside it. its a mix of an image and a name.

i think he's referring to these photos...
shit, the only thing i can think of with that is to dodge/burn appropriately to blend the white overlay with the blue of the car, thats a nasty watermark tho... REAL nasty

Thanks for the offer Jeff-I appreciate the help.
Perhaps I misunderstood your 3 word sentence to mean: "If I can be of any assistance to help you edit out watermarks in Microsoft Word, please indicate so.
In Microsoft Word?
I'll do better next time.

howard, a watermark is there for a reason - its in order so that the photographers artwork isnt stolen or tampered with. Whoever made that did a very good job and it would take A LOT of effort to remove that(notice he put it over the most important part). I personally would never touch it because its someones work and they want it protected, which is respectable. They spent time and money to develop a quality picture like that.
I recommend letting it be, or contacting the owner of that picture and asking nicely. That usually works, just explain your reasoning for it and if they wont... ask them atleast to shift the watermark down to a corner.

I understand copyright infringement.
I also have never purchased a bootleg DVD.
I was looking for options short of purchasing any of those prints.
Did I give permission to take photos of my car? I don't remember.
Thanks for the input. :) :D

Why do you think you have to give permission?
Howard, theres numbers on the photos - just make a quick call and state what your purpose is for(they'll probably give you a copy for free)... people are just trying to put food on the table. Its like me telling you to ship me stuff and dont you dare charge me because its my property.
Put yourself in his/her shoes - probably spent over 10,000$ on his set up, not including certain lens and tripods and what not. He does it for a living... and people should just get his pictures for free?
The problem is, we're spoiled with taking 'free' pictures offline and claiming them as ours.

you know what man, I think investing in some of those pictures is a good idea - you'll have it forever and they look amazing. I would even go as far as getting that professional printed out and plaqued for your wall.
