what rims for slicks?

what is the lightest rim you can buy to put slicks on?

From what I've seen; 15x7 Rota Slipstream's. They make a set specifically for the Neon. I believe they weigh about 10.5 lbs.

There are a few now. Traclite, the slipstreams, centerline storms, and the Kosei wheels all work great. Kosei are become far and few. Good luck with your search.

The slipstreams are very nice. Those & the Kosei K-1's are my fav's for slicks. Unless of course you have the $$$ and can opt for some Bogarts but now your talking big dough.

Just thought I'd share. ACR wheels are nice, but I wouldn't track them. They would be good light daily wheels.

yea but i dont really feel like buying new rims and im not sure if i want to let my bbs go...i have nexos on there right now...17x7's...but im going to wait until i need slicks to buy them..i was just trying to plan ahead

You would get more for the ACR's selling em then you would purchasing a set of Kosei's or slipstreams.

I've seen them go for about $500-700 recently. Depending on the condition of them. That's enough to get you a set of slicks & wheels actually.

What size slicks are you trying to run? You can run 24.5 on some 15 or run some 26-7-17 on your stock srt wheels, i have the 26-7-17 check with me at DCR RACING the # is 1-336-623-6611.
