Dorney Park Meet 10/29

as our meets continue our members are growing in numbers from our original 12 to our current 16 we would like to continue to have these meets we will try to find more exotic places to take pictures and to have some highway fun as our stretch of highway we grive on from mcydees to out photo place is at best 5miles and when you get 16 turbo cars on a 3lane hiway at about 155mph 5miles comes up quick. So as it sits 10/29 will be our next meet for the simple fact that id like to give the police some time to forget about us, And have some time for my friends trans to settle. But till then everyone stay safe

Ill go to the meet for sure at MC'Ds. but when you guys get onto 78 im goign to drive like a grandma so ill probly just split again unless u give me direction and ill meet u guys at the place your all going. Andy can stay with me since we both wanna drive normal

One of the reasons I started avoiding meets before I blew up my car. I drive for a living and I'm on Rt. 78 everyday...I don't need to be another traffic jam on that road and you're assholes for driving like that.

he man i hear ya there i drive for a living and have had my share of 15 hour days because of a**holes but please come to the meets they r kool when we r just chillin there.... so from now on ralph i will take a second group to where we are going for pics ( if thats ok) driving slowly so no 1 feels uncomfortable......... so please show up guys its a good time

but if we are leaving after the speed demons, the cops are going to spot us after, fitting the description of the people on the road who called to complain about unsafe drivers. and fuk with us, or do they need to see us physically to do anything about it?

I agree with Jay 100% on this one. I'm not going to get in trouble because everyone wants to act like a Nascar driver on an interstate highway. I dont mind the slow lane, as my music makes the ride pleasant.

i hear ya, the year before @ the memorial meet i had a few close calls, not necessarily with SRT drivers, one in particular w/ some old asian dude who decided since he had NJ plates he wasn't obligated to yield to me, guess punk kids pulled down the part of the signt that read "Yield.......to anybody but PA drivers". then when this 50+ year old guy stopped his car to wanna fight me, the cop that pulled up beside me yelled at me!!

I really could care less if you like me or not. I'm an asshole and don't apologize for it to anyone. You don't like me on your threads then take your shit to PM's cause this is a public forum and I have every right to voice my opinion just like the next guy. I haven't been coming to meets cause my car's been in different shops since April as well as sitting in my own garage. That's my choice cause I'm picky and keep changing my mind. I'd go to meets but I'd rather not show up in my DD beater civic. I know I'm behind the wheel of my own car but like someone else mentioned the people that are driving sensible and staying behind are the ones that are going to get targeted for your stupid ass driving...Cause in case you haven't noticed you and I both drive black srt-4's...you think the general public knows the difference between mine and yours?!?

as for the cops they need to see you commit the illegal act...... if they dont they can not pull you over....... still if you feel uncomfortable i live in allentown and know back roads to get most places so we can take a different way then the people who r driving fast.......

I've owned my srt for 2 years now and I've been to more than enough meets. I have enough "friends" on this board and throughout the srt community...I don't go to meets to make friends I go to hang out with the ones I have. Hence why I haven't been coming to meets lately.:noball:
