what kind did u go with? and where did u order it from? cuz i gotthe mopar from modern performance, and they actually, sent me a how to video. lol. but u dont need it, its pretty self explanitory.
take out the screws that hold in the center console. pop off ur shift knob, pull your ebrake up real high, and pull the whole thing out.
there will be the 2 main shift linkages held in with clips, pop them out with pliers or a flat head screwdriver.
there will be 4 main bolts in the floor where the whole shifter assembly sits,. take those 4 bolts off and pull the shifter of the floor. and the sts is a direct replacement.. same way u took everything off. just dont forget to put the clips back in on the linkages. good luck. hope i didnt miss anything

Dude, since you're going to do the install, write it up yourself

You really don't need help. Probably one of the easiest installs for the SRT and I'm not a mechanic :woot:

quick how -to:

1) remove the center console
remove the screw in each of the cup holders and the 4 screws in the center console itself

2) remove the stock shifter: pull REAAALLY hard but dont knock yourself out. (dont laugh, it has happened before)

3) remove the console: shimmy the console out of the car.

4) remove the shift cables from the stock shifter.

5) remove the 4 bolts (dont know the size) that hold the stock shifter in place

reverse process to install new shifter.

*this is a quick howto based off memory when i installed mine a few months ago. I dont think I forgot anything, but if someone needs to add something to this post, please do*
