I most likely will be attending both (SAT events-7,21) - each tasting session will be 4 hours, ticket prices are for one session only.

As for cost lemme break it down for you. $43.50 - 4 hours is about the same as:
- spending $4.00 a 12oz. beer (without tips) = 10.8 beers/4 hours = 2.7 beers an hour or 130 oz of beer (ballpark, some people drink faster or more).

Also most likely for both events, you will get a 10oz souvenier event glass:
So let's work backwards-assuming you WANT TO TRY EVERY BEER RIGHT???

Brewtopia will have 100+ beers and so therefore you have to try each one of them: let's say each booth has 3 out of 4 beers you like (winter brew, summer brew, etc) so you're going to try 75% of the beers there

-that's 750oz of beer - 130oz = +51.6 bottles of (12oz) beer for only = $16.50 more in the price of admission.

Beer on the Pier (estimated 30-40 beers) since it's smaller:

-that's 325oz of beer - 130oz = +16.25 bottles of (12oz) beer in the same four hours.

Of course I have a point. Take the train in 1500 - eat dinner before hand 1600. Stand on line: 1700-> Beertopia at Javits should not be missed.

Last year it was at Chelsey piers (92) i think. Javits is gonna be huge.

Then we go out again around 2200 and hit all the hot spots in the city.

I'm down for whatever, my wingman bailed on me, the plan was to head to the city early for food, but I don't want to do that alone, so I gotta see what's going on, but I'll definitely be there, I just bought my ticket!

Plan currently is to meet on the line at Javits: 1700-1800.

Doors open at 1800. Event finishes at 22:00.

I have a place in mind for food & additional drinks afterwards - for all of us: (me & my friend Pat know the bartender Mike + he will be at Brewtopia)

Don't go there on a full stomach. We'll eat a little during-> then eat mostly afterwards.
