The dealer wants about 380 for a new rim. I might as well bite the bullet and spend the money for a whole new set since I am getting close to needing new tires anyway. I have an eblue srt and wanted to get some feedback on the following wheels that I can JUST BARELY squeek into my budget:
ASA JH8 (black with machine lip) 17x7.5, +35mm offset
Borbet Type S 17x7.5, +35mm offset
Kazera KZ-A black with machine or silver 17x7.5, +40mm offset
Kazera KZ-B bronze or light grey, 17x7.5, +35mm offset
Kazera KZ-C bright silver or chrome plated 17x7.5 (unknown offset)
Kazera Kz-T silver painted or chrome 17x7.5, +40mm offset
Shuk W21 bright satin 17x7.5, +35mm offset (my first choice because they are the lightest of what I can afford but they are on closeout so I might have to act fast)
Sport Edition E2 silver painted 17x7, +38mm offset (wont let me mount 235's safely, but at only 106 a wheel it really meets the bill)
Sport Edition F2 silver painted 17x7.5, +35mm offset (at 24.5 lbs its kinda heavy, but at 104 a wheel the price sure is right)
If anyone has another opinions Id like to hear them. What I'd like to get is a tire and wheel package where the wheel can hold a 235 tire and Id like to spend less than 640 on the wheels. If I can spend less than 500 that would be ideal.
Stupid potholes. So much for being able to get slicks. and I'll probably have to sell my DR's anyway

Hmm on discount tire direct I found the following combination:
MB Wheels Blast 17x7.5 35mm offset on Falken 235-45 all seasons (814 rotations versus 819 for stock KDW's) mounted and shipped for 760.00.
Thats a damn good price and is about 100 less than what I can get from tirerack for an all season combo. Thoughts?

spec chart for the falken all seasons (I want the 235/45-17's):

all the other wheels are on tirerack so you can go there and shop by model (2004 dodge neon srt4) and set the color of the car to blue.
Why would I set the color to blue when I have a black srt4:rolleyes: Nice rims tho from discounttiredirect.com

agreed. I'll probably point and click my way to them once my credit card statement cuts. Its a shame too because I really really REALLY wanted a set of slicks but I have to divert money from that cause to pay for these.
I needed new tires anyway so its basically costing me 50 bucks more to get a new set of wheels versus replacing one stocker.

update...
I might be getting a replacement wheel locally for relatively cheap, and I might be getting a hold some BFG TA-KD's for about $400.00 for a set. Im looking at having everything when its said and done to be in the 560-600 range, but I would have no snow ability. Given that Im lowered slightly, I dont think i could drive in anything higher than about 4" of snow anyway.
So my question now is, should I take this route and potentially save about 200 bucks versus getting the wider wheel and all season tire package, or stick with the plan and be able to actually drive my car in light snow without having to worry about crashing? Where I live now isn't exactly upstate NY, but there WILL be snow in the winter where I am now.
Thoughts?
I live in Nashville, Tennessee. What exactly is this 'snow' you speak of?
The Kazara wheels are nice. I've had my eye on them for a while now. Seen some of the black ones on several cars around here. They look great! I only wish they made them in 16" sizes.....
if you are interested one of the guys here has a brand new set of stockers with michelins on them.they were removed from the car as soon as it was bought.selling price is 600 for all 4

If your interested in taking it a step up these look great in my eyes. Racing Sparco D-spec stage 1 18x7.5 $99 per wheel. Come in matte black, silver and (if your daring) bronze.

They are sexy, but I got a few things goin on in the budget that are making it just about 100% certain I gotta go for a cheap replacement stocker and inexpensive all seasons.
PM me if you're at all interested in a stocker. 07922 area code so you know where pickup would be.
I could even do a tire if you need.
