before I post my time, my trap speed was 118-120 on all 5 runs, what would you expect my 1/4 mile time would be?

the R/T is fine, it's the 60' that's killing me, everytime I tried to launch, it'd bog down, i really need to practice that b/c everything else is perfect

M/T 24.5x8x15's those are the same slicks I use. And yes you're launching WAY too low. I was launching around 4500-5000rpms. Spun a lil off the line but pulled like a raped ape the rest of the way. Try it and see what happens.:woot:

:werd: When I was at the track last with my 50trim and slicks I was hitting mid 12's on pump gas and 20psi. Once we threw a lil race gas in an turned it up to 29psi I hit mid 11's like it was nothing. And don't listen to the haters with the right tune its possible to run that and be safe. But with your traps already being high you just need a better launch.:woot:

I've heard it from people with aftermarket clutches but I just do them in first since I have stock clutch. Hopefully Jay(N2MB) will come back and drop some more knowledge. He's the one that was giving me all the pointers the day I was at the track.

if you have an aftermarket clutch that can take the shock.. then sure do a 2nd gear burn out.. that will heat em up NICE

also im assuming you are on a 50trim? launch at like 5k like munky said..

Same thing as a 50trim. Just spools like 200rpms different and has like 3lbs more room or some shit.

last night i tried to race my friend's stock z06, and i spun the tires all the way through 2nd and 3rd and then i gave up
