I would say buy an extra bezel from a junkyard for cheap and experiment with it...the worst that could happen would be losing that 10-15 bucks on the bezel...plus you can experiment with custom fab/fiberglass or similar if you really wanted to go nuts...

I didnt have a stock cd changer where does it go? and if its not close to where the stock radio is then i wont do me any good since ill be putting a dvd/nav unit in there.

I dont think i need to go crazy with the fiberglass work yet, i justr want it to look clean and not like a hack job, im sure if i take my time with a dremel it will look good, what i was worried about is clearance inside the dash with the ac/heat controls and what not, but it looks like a double din will clear fine in there.

Measure the mounting bracket for the double din or find the dimensions for it, measure where the stock radio usually sits and then see if there is enough material to shape out the area where you want it to fit. I could've sworn there were pics of this already done somewhere on here...but i can't seem to find them.

i was thining of doing the eact same thing a couple weeks ago. Alpine IVA-W200 i think it is.
there is enough room to git it done but it would take a lil fab work. as is, u need to buy a mount for an after market single DIN to fit to the stock screws. you'd have to find a double din mount and modify that to fit the opening you'd have to cut into the bezel.

i think the most you can fit is a din and a half. pete has a single din flip out and molded an .5 din eq. and he had to do fiberglassing to get that to work and it looks like its the max that could fit in there

i would cut the dash bezel, because behind that there is plenty of room to play with. At first i was thinking of the Alpine Iva-w200 but if im ganna spend $1000, i might as well spend $1500 and get the pioneer with navigation.
what about the avic series? its a single din, has all those options your looking for and pretty sure pete can get u a sweet deal on them

either way, good luck with the fit. If you cut that piece, post pics. I'm interested in seeing what it looks like.

I sell them at my job and get everything for cost, The alpine will run me about 550, and the pioneer will run me about 800.
