Compustar 2WSS-AS combined with LoJack or GeoTracer.
The former you can get on ebay for less $250 if you want to install it yourself (it's a chore but do-able.)

Pete forever hating on the matrix! LOL! I've had it on my car since day one. Only problem i've ever had was the keypad itself which mr. chinese delivery replaced for me.

doesn't matter really...if they want it they're gonna take it. the skim key is like 600x more effective than any alarm and that isn't working anymore.

yeah man... the matrix... if you think that you're buying a clifford, think again. what you're buying is the viper 791 in a clifford "carbon fiber" case. and since both the viper 791 and the clifford matrix are the same they both suck balls. if you want a real clifford get the g5 series. but don't ask me to put it in if you want the avantguard or the intelliguard. b/c i won't do it for under $550 just labor!

but in all seriousness if you just want an affective alarm you can just go w/ a prestige... i love those alarms. but if you want something real ill... 2-way and all that stuff i highly suggest a compustar.

You know I gotta bust your balls Pete! You know your shit with alarms and i'll never doubt you again. Tell you what though, this remote has been great so far. Still has the factory battery in it.

you're absolutely right... chrysler owns mercedes but dodge and benz isn't the same. if i'd have to i would pick, i'd chose viper over all, even above the regular clifford. but if you have the money go the the clifford g5 series. those things are no joke and the intelliguard and the av5 are the most sophisticated, and most intelligent system in the market!

if prestige is what you want...

for alarm systems look at the aps-510. it's a regular alarm. if you want a 2-way alarm i suggest the aps596. both come w/ shock sensor, starter kill, and keyless entry.

for alarm/ remote start systems... look into getting an aps-786. it's a regular alarm/remote start. and if you want a 2-way i suggest the aps-997. both have the same alarm features as the regular systems and both have the same remote start features, just one is a 2-way. but just a bit of a warning... those systems are not manual safe!!!!!!!

if you really want something that is safe i suggest the compustar systems. all of their remote starts are manual safe!

BTW... i carry all the DEI brands, and COMPUSTAR* brands. i can also get whatever prestige product you want.

*compustar product has to be done at my shop at shop price for the full warrenty. although i will hook you up still.

Feh...

I got to page 4 and gave up. Too much flaming and comments given as fact that dont jive with my understanding of physics and public/private key encryption.

DIRECTED ELECTRONICS... my shop sells it also... but we dont carry so much clifford... the 791 is or biggest seller as far as two ways... but as long as my car has FULL insurance, and that includes the mods too, (thanks to geico) than the need for an amazing alarm isnt my biggest priority... for what it costs for a g5 i would rather get a 791 and put the extra cash into my engine... other than that if i ever have $50,000+ in my car, i would gladly get a G5 :D
