PS. Id love to sit in your car or even let you run my car while you are taking it down the strip jeff.. just to watch if you dont mind :D

Also, YES the cobra guy said 720.. JDM did all the work.. and as you could see he was on street tires and practically ROLLED up to the 330 mark. and he his other runs were MUCH faster looked like low 12s but the toolbag next to him ran no time.. but still even if he was on his street tune that was like 600+ he said..that should net you a better trap than 118

OK burnout.. i was rolling through the line just cuz i wanted to make sure i went all the way through and didnt stop short and say goodbye to my 03 axle with 45k miles on it.. now that im used to them a lil bit i can stop myself b4 the line ok like i did on my last run..

Get on the line.. i really dont pay attention to my reaction and just rev it up to 25-3k depending.. then i slowly slip the clutch to get myself moving and once im moving i could pretty much floor it with the DRs and hook.. doing that i pulled all 2.1s and a 2.008

KEEP IN MIND that was my 1st time EVER on DRs.. next time out ill hopefully drop those 60s when im a bit more comfortable on em

Pull up your ebrake duing your burnout and let the tires pull you out. Once you start moving then slowly release the ebrake. If you need to, dont go through the waterbox to heat them up.

Please stop with the "not focused on my reaction time". You should be focused on the whole run, burnout to finish. Trust me.

Launch the car at like 4k and let the clutch out quick. No feathering. You feather on street tires, not with DRs. If you're gonna spin, you're gonna spin.

That technique gave me consistent low 1.9 60' times.

Plus, make sure the DRs are at 12psi. That seemed to work well for me.

And finally, get you car in race shape. If your car is breaking up (plugs, wires) then don't run cause you are guaranteed bad times.

That Cobes def had 650+ to the wheels, he just didn't know how to handle it unfortunitally, it was his first time at the track with the car.

Well from what I witnessed, the engine bay of that KB Cobra, it was CLEAN as hell...so I would say JDM=teh awesome...and he did run a low 12 second pass, driving his Cobra down the 1320 like grandma was behind the wheel, on what was said to be a VERY conservative tune. The car is supposedly capable of 700+hp to the wheels on water/meth and race gas. Owner was pretty cool also not your typical, my domestic will eat you anyday kind of a guy, as a matter of fact his brother drives and STI :lol:
