I know this issue has been touched alot but....Whats the trick to get out iridium plugs. From what i understand they use a special socket? Every socket i tried seems like it wants to grab but spins off.....Any input?

Sparkplugs.com sells a special tapered socket (I think it came free with a set of Iridium plugs). They advertise on the "other" forums. Somebody's bound to have one in your area - anybody in Central Jersey help him out???

We might have a tool for that Shawn. Bring it down to the shop.

ITV series plugs need a thin-walled socket. ITL's can use the regular ones. easiest thing to do is get an old 5/8 ad grind down the outside.

hozay, i hope you have a socket for it, as i have the itv's in there now and i can't get them out. i have a new set of itl's waiting to go in.....
