I was jw... how fast would a CAR have to be to pull say a slightly modded R6? Is it possible? Ive always wondered this?

No how much power bro, i know what mods will get me the power but what would you have to trap and how much hp would u need to pull one of those lil rice rockets.. if it can even be done? lol , not that im gonna go out racing bikes but i was jw

R6's can do anywhere from 8 to 11 sec 1/4 mile. Depends on mods and driver. So you'll need to figure out what it will take to get to at least an 11 sec 1/4 mile time.

say like an R6 with exhaust and a average to fair driver.. could i pull him from a roll if i was trapping high teens? maybe 115-119?

I don't know about pull but maybe walk. Depending on if you are talking 1/4 mile or just a long straight run on the road. I think that you would own the R6 on top speed but it's gonna take a bit to get there.

I would a 50 trim, spray and all the other needed stuff to make you go fast. Oh also, at that point you should be concerned about weight in the vehicle. Less weight = faster, quicker :)

You may also reach an aerodynamic stagnation point in your attempt to exceed motorcycle speeds-don't forget to consider that.

aww man.. alright lets put it this way.. could I HANG with an R6 with say.. 350whp?

if you were trapping in the upper 120's you should be able to hang/slightly pull *a stock r6* from a roll... it would be close at low speeds but you would have no problem pulling at high speeeds.

Yup, bikes arent that aerodynamic above 150 mph.

Thank you... so basically its damn near impossible

Brian its not really some1 that wants to race ME, he just talks so much shit about racing cars in general and im like YOU HAVE A BIKE go ride with other bikes, and hes like THERES NO FUN IN THAT and im like you=gay, but i just thought it would be the best thing in the world if i knew some1 that could PwN this faggot

Ken if i had the money you know i would go out and give myself 500whp right now lol infact im thinking about raising the limits on the ole credit cards.. ?

Dan - if this individual wants to compare apples to oranges: STOP wasting your time...that's what I say. There is no logical reasoning here.

If you want to persue it: the only logic would be to match the power to weight ratio of a bike with a 4 wheeled vehicle...basically impossible with most of our tax brackets.

My W2 form certainly does not cut it...(yet).

LOL thanks howard, can always rely on you for the best and most logical/inteligent answer... im obviously not the type of person that wants to go around racing bikes lol i just thought it would be funny to see some1 get PwN3d by a car on a bike

Stock to slightly modded R6's are trapping high 120's to even a few have hit low 130's at 5800' altitude. They are running solid 10's. I would say a streetable srt-4 couldn't keep up with a stock to slightly modded R6. I would say low 1.7ish 60's and traps around 130, you would have the bike and a crowd that is just amazed.

buddy of mine has a s4 that traps 125mph. From a roll he's hanging in there with 600's but not winning. Now understand his car also weights 2900 pounds with him in it, and he was running 11.2's with 1.7 60ft on a AWD (horrible 60ft with DR's) He is def running 10's with this setup.

To beat it, your gonna need around 550whp and some serious weight reduction.

Just remember a bike is a motor attached to wheels with a mini trans and the rider hang out on top of the engine. A car engine actually does work and has to pull its heavy giant framed ass down the street. That is why a fast car to me is far beyond a fast bike because that is a motor on wheels so I hope it can beat a car. Anyone who is like haha my bike is faster just think haha my dick is bigger and remember your a passenger vehicle not a motor on wheels.

Dan I just found the S/C Viper (900hp) :eek2: vs. Hayabusa video (13min). It is a pretty well coordinated filming effort in my opinion: Car w/three cameras-(F/R/Side), Busa & chase Busa? with chase camera; (also some specators on the side footage too).

It is 30Megs...and I have no host. But this should answer your power to weight ratio question. ;) I can burn my Pocono vids and this one on a CD for you if you want--it'll cost you $20.00...LOL

There nothing you can do. You don't stand a chance against any sports bike. The only was certain cars can beat bikes are well above 100. R6 vs Ferrari Enzo... Enzo gets pwned below until about 130... then the half million dollar car will pull on a 8 thousand dollar bike.

Yeah r6's are running solid high 10's here in cali way to much power for our lil dodges :(

My 68 mustang (being rebuilt) could pull a r6 to about 110 then they started to catch up by 130ish the race was over and the bike had like 4 cars on me. I ran out of rpm. For our cars a big turbo and nos might be able to pull with a r6 but not pull away. Take the weight to power ratio and the srt 4 at 2900 lbs and the r6 at 500 with rider and the math calculating aerodynamics and wind you would need about 645 to 690 hp to beat an r6 to 150 mph. It is a lot less if you only run to 120mph because the wind traveling around the srt is not as great at 120 vs 150 mph. If you ran to 120 mph 500 hp might be enough to keep even with the r6 with an average rider.
