Your wodinator is screwed up. Make sure you press on the gas 3x's before restarting the car.

I had the code 0443, its cause the EVAP system aka the Gas Tank, did you cap the line that usually runs to your intake? That line is there to put the evap system gases (the fumes from the gas) back into the engine to help with emissions.

Whats up man. Issues I have seen, Not specificly on SRT's but... Alot of times it could be your gas cap. The pressure in your tank should be a certain level. Once it goes below the threshold, it will throw a code. Check to see if the seal under the cap is ripped, torn, or even squashed, twisted. I have also seen evap purge valves go bad, which is actually a small motor. Check it out.

clear it and see if it comes back.just tell me you have stage 0 in the car.stage 1 would never set that code.and yeah make sure your gas cap is tight

i have stage zero, i tighten the cap... and still comes up... (clear the code) as in take neg battery cable off for a little right ? since i dont have any tool to do it

cleared it and has not come back yet... hopefully it was just the gas cap.. thanks for the assistance guys

well i replaced the gas cap... and now i got a new error code P 0440.... I need to resolve this issue... i have not done anything to my car in i dont no how long beside rims. so i dont no what is causing this . please help thanks

yes it will because s1 wont run an evap test.however you have either a actual evap leak or the purge solenoid or ldp pump are bad.either way the answer is yes s1 eliminate the codes

well i have intake exhaust and pipe w/ bov which they no about.... but maybe ill take it over there so they can rip me a new one and say i did something to affect it

fix it than get stage 1 ... no point in getting stage 1 to hide the problem and still have the problem for the rest of the cars life.

yeh i no, i just hate leaving my car at dodge... i think i will take it there when i have off so i can wait for it... but how can i check if the valve or the sylenoid thing are bad? or is that something the dealer wud have to do.

I was in Dealer Parts biz for close to 10 years. From my experiences, It always seemed to be the purge valve or the evap canister. They are always made cheap. Espessually the valve. But, then again, I also worked with German Cars. So, you never know.

But in any event, Your mods have nothing to do with evaporative emissions. I would fight that if they dont warranty that.

Nailed that one on the head. Um, for VW audi they were in the $90 range. But the price was low because they were replacing them ALL the time. I would think that it should be in that prince range, give or take 20 bills.

it is most likely either a purge solenoid or ldp but i wouldnt put much stress on it if you are waiting for a s1 pcm.the ONLY reason why the evap system is even on the car is for strict fed emissions laws which are rediculous.the s1 and up pcm's are built to mexico emissions.in other words..they dont have any.

what the evap system does is it uses a leak detection pump so check if the "non pressurized" part of the fuel system can seal and recover vapors.it does a small and large leak test.if there were a hole in a line somewhere and it were to bleed off between .020 and .040 it would fail a small leak and above an .040 it will fail a large leak.general failures such as an ldp or purge solenoid failure are usually electrically at fault,either a solenoid is bad or a broken or weak diaphragm in the pump
