Here's how the convoy will work from Pa

- Meet up at the Neshaminy Mall that morning
- Drive from Neshaminy to Aviation Plaza (probably turnpike)
- Leave Aviation Plaza and drive to NY

So if you want to mee up with us like that, you should probably plan to get on the turnpike there and wait on the shoulder for us to go past!

Ill go, still a lil ways away but ill go, that is when i get my car back. I crashed it a-fucking-gain. Took out the left side, i spun out on 95 at a high rate of speed managed to not hit anybody else but then slid into the outside barrier. It pushed both of my wheels in from the bottom, both left side quater panels, the doors, my sunroof, rear and front bumper, headlights, tailights, it was bad.

But yeah im going reguardless.

Yeah, I didnt get a scratch. No windows broke i dunno i am lucky the air bags didnt go off. The intial estimate without the suspension and underbody came to like 7 grand with labor. :eek: Im just very thankful i didnt hurt anybody.

I don't remember exactly how PA did it last time but everyone met and left at 7:30am if i'm not mistaken and met with the NJ travelers over at Aviation Plaza. From there we had about 40 cars leave at 9:30am arriving at the park a little before 11am.

Couple suggestions:

1) Stay grouped together. Don't race on the turnpike or whatever route you take.

2) ARRIVE ON TIME! can't stress that one enough. I know a few people were pulling their hair apart because of left over stragglers. It's memorial weekend and they're WILL be traffic.

3) Whether you guys are traveling with NJ people or on your own, I highly suggest you guys get EZPass. If don't already have one and have no intention of getting one, then your on your own at toll booths. Having a shit load of cars trying to wait for everyone else on the side of the road is potentially dangerous and crazy.

4) WASH YOUR FREAKIN' CAR! Showing up to a huge meet with a dirty car not only shows that you are careless and neglectful but allows me to point it out and make you look like an ass.

5) Follow the leader. Don't let the car in front of you stay ahead by 5 miles! Keep up!

Those are my pointers. Have fun. :)

Yeah can't stress this one enough... I got stuck at a tollbooth last year and ended up taking the wrong bridge and waiting for 30 minutes on the side of the road until the next wave of cars passed me so I could follow them to the park. I think it was Hozay I had to call on my cell to figure out where the hell I was.
Everyone was really good about meeting at Neshaminy Mall on time, we got to BS around a bit before it was time to take off. And for those of you who weren't there last year, it really is something else driving in the middle of a pack of 40+ SRT's down the highway... :woot:

If I work that morning, and I leave around 1:00pm will I be missing anything important? Do I need to bring any funds/food etc.?

Hey John glad to see you finally made it over here from the other forums. You'll find alot of locals around here. If you don't work the morning of this event you can come down with my group. Not sure exactly what time we'll be leaving but I will let you know as it gets closer to the date.

To those of you going to Cabella's...

Someone is going to have to take command that day and lead the pack. I'm no longer going to Cabella's. All you guys have to do is get on 78 East and take that all the way up to Newark NJ then get on Rt. 1-9 South. Follow that all the way down till you see Aviation Plaza. You can't miss it. There's no tolls the entire way so noone should get lost or confused. It's 2 roads and straight thru. Good luck I'll see you guys either at AP or in NY.



BTW...LEAVE NO LATER THAN 7AM FROM CABELLA'S!!! If you do you're never gonna make it to AP in time and I know they won't wait for you. I drive this route everyday in my work truck going 65mph(damn governed piece of shit) and it takes just under 2 hours. So if you guys cruise around 70-75 since the speed limit is 65mph anyway you should be there with plenty of time to spare.
