2007 Solstice turbo

so i guess GM is coming out w/ a 2.2 ecotec w/ a turbo pushing 240 horses...heard some1 mentioned the redline will have it...but that stupid miata wannabe solstice will have it....a 240 hp s2000-sized car??? and they are like under 25k me thinks....so much for us having the monopoly on cheap performance...i have a feeling that thing will be a high 13 second car

I think its a great thing that a domestic is finally producing a Miata Killer. Base model Solstice> Mazdaspeed Miata/New Miata
And now the Solstice GXP will blow the doors off anything. With 240hp/RWD, Im expecting low to mid 13's.

And the Saturn SKY is the same thing as the Solstice. Id take the Saturn due to its dent proof panels, those things are awesome.

saturn doesn't have those anymore, or will not in the future at least... GM THINKS they're gonna up the satutn's image to compete with Acura, its Gonna be a "luxury line" along with buick vs BMW and cadillac vs. mercedes... personally, i like the sky/ solstice, however i think GM has their head way to far up their ass if they think they're going to compete with BMW/ Merc... acura, i could see since acura=honda=poo :bigthumb:

there have already been talks about releasing a V-8 conversion kit... although with the rumored 2.0 ecotec turbo at 250+ hp.. may not need a V-8. Those Ecotec's are strong :bigthumb:
