I am cruising home from work yesterday minding my own damn business. I see a blue car coming up in my rearview fast. Mind you that I don't normally race on the streets...if it makes the RSX kid sleep better goin home saying he beat an SRT then more power to him.
So as it gets closer I see that it's a 1st gen neon. full body kit, cutom paint...looked like a show car, very clean and nice. He pulls up next to me and starts riding with me. I look over (all white interior...looked sweet) and he gives a head nod and drops it a gear and punches it. Low and behold I hear a blow-off valve (sounded like the GReddy RS) and the exhaust almost drowns out my cars. so i drop it from 5th to 4th...lookin back i shoulda dropped it to 3rd but i wasnt expectin much of any competition. i mean c'mon...it can only be pushing 8psi of boost right???...WRONG!
so he takes the hell off and when my turbo finally spools I am hangin with him. after being behind him i see no exhaust so he must have been dumping right under his car. his car sounded like Wills (needswings 3" downpipe w/cutout). long story short...i got beat. but we pulled up next to each other again and he said he had a 60 trim so i don't feel bad...lol.
So if anybodys down near atlantic city and sees a blue 1st gen neon w/body kit...watch ur ass!
