I'm guessing that for the price and install time it's not worth the gains. I have never heard too many good reveiws about UD pulleys on any car. I've never even looked into them on this car.

there are upsides and downsides as well.ive been running ud pulleys for years.first i will start off with the bad point, when you run an ud pulley you are removing the harmonic balancer which is incorporated to the pulley.the balancer is designed to absorb crank vibrations.by removing it,it is possible to wear down crank thrust bearings ,rod and main bearings, and in some cases cause a harmonic vibration that can ultimately lead to a broken crankshaft.like i said though ive been using them for years and have never had it happen to me but i have heard of it.
the upside of it is it reduces parasitic drag on the crank allowing it to rotate more freely and free up horsepower througout the rpm band and the biggest increase will be more torque gains.on turbo cars it also helps the turbo spool a little faster.

on a side note with a ud pulley dont forget you are also under driving your altenator,ac compressor and power steering pump.if guys are running alot of electronics may encounter occasional problems in their systems if their battery voltage goes low.im not sure but it could possibly lead to early altenator failure due to increased full fielding.the water pump on an srt is crank driven so its not an issue but on cars that are belt water pump driven they do operate at higher temps because the water pump is turning alot slower

I had an ud pulley on my car when I bought it, didn't know until it fucked up my power steering pump and the dealer said they can't warantee it unless I put the stock pulley back in.. Jay actually swapped my pullies..

I say its not worth the gains, when I put the stocker back on I didn't feel a difference..

pretty much, honestly ud pulleys are kind of a thing where you are trying to squeeze out every last drop of horsepower out of the car or you have a show piece and it adds the extra touch.

I installed the MPX UDP about a year ago and noticed that the car reved up quicker. I dyno'd (posted on other forum) and it gave me 6whp! I was very impressed. And yes, Jay is correct when he noted the better spooling and a bit more power higher up on the band. I love mine. It wasn't so hard to install. I actually installed mine in 15 degree weather last year. Baked the UDP in my toaster oven in the garage and slipped the bitch on. The cold weather did the rest. Took me about 2hrs and 7 buds.

I'd say...go for it! you can always go back.

btw. be sure to secure that bitch or your belt will never align and pop right off.

I have the mpx ud pulley on mine and I noticed the turbo spools up a little quicker than with the stock pulley on and the difference at the track was .1 second not too bad for 100 bucks.
