Its alittle bit hard to tell when you have some...

The private message link under your user name vanishes and I find I have to click on User CP to read them...

yea, we're aware of the problem, it's some sort of glitch. i think that gary is working on it.

I have pop up notification, no problems at all

yes, but even with the pop up notification, if you click cancel to look at it later, the private message link under your user name is not there.
