okay I am a newbie to the whole fourms thing so sorry if I F*uck this up anyway... I just got an 2005 srt-4 in silver. now I am a gear head and I would love to have a 400+ hp car but the reality is I have a 6 year bumper to bumper. I want to try to keep that from being voided.... now I read the manual and it didnt seem to be to clear about performance parts regarding Mopar. now if I were to get stage 2 with toys or 3 with toys would I lose that warrenty?

it really depends on the dealer but yes. if you have them install your stage kits they will charge you an arm and a leg and then most likely void it if theres a problem saying it was due to your driving of it. we have some great shops like jays shop in my sig. he installs stage kits with ease and can more or less rebuild your car if need be. so in short, fuck the warranty, grow some balls and go to jays shop and get the shit put on :D

If you bought it new id beat her up a lil bit before i made my decsion. Read up also go to the archives there is shit loads of good information you can use as advice... but yes stg. 3 will void the warranty... well the engine warranty at least not the tranny. oh yeah if you didnt buy it new and the clutch is questionable then burn it out... they wont replace it under warranty after 12k miles.

most dealers will give you the "it's warrantied if we install it" crap. but most stage kits can be done yourself with basic tools, so no need to pay them to do it. and they're pricks anyway so why give them the money.

I doubt he had a yellow one unless he crashed it right after he bought it... and umm he wouldnt be asking about the warranty its probably just his way of reminding himself not to get too rowdy

I think that's off Howell Automotive's site as an ad for used parts.
flyboy,
i would heavily consider modding your car if your concern is the warranty.99.9% of the dealers will look for a reason to not cover a repair under warranty.they make more money by not covering it.most modifications are labeled "for off road use only"however it doesnt exactly mean it cant be used and or void a warranty item.
for more information on what your rights as a consumer go click on this link
http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/warranty.htm
that is written in stone and will hold up in any courtroom.
the downside is fighting for your rights can sometimes be more expensive than just paying for the repair.
i would love for you to come here and empty your wallet but i think in you and your wifes case you may be better off just enjoying the car as it is and saving your money for when your warranty does expire :D then come see me:bigthumb:
