Is... ON..............! I thought the car was loud when i started it up and had the DP CLOSED... HA, i cant hear myself think when its open.. i didnt realize how loud it was until i hear it for myself....... i opened it and roasted my tires through 2nd gear like it was 1st gear.. 3 people gave me the finger.. 2 screamed @ me... and the swat team was almost called on me..

yeah i heard they all break, im looking forward to that... :ugh2:

oh well ill just open it by hand when it does.. its WAY too loud to drive with around town anyways.. just gonna suck if i pull up on a car i wanna mess with on the highway or something..

This is the first i've heard of anyone's opener breaking on them? A friend of mine has his, opens-closes no problems what-so-ever....How long does it usually take for this to happen?

I believe Bungles' warped from the heat after like 2 weeks.. obviously vypurs did too.. pretty sure they all warp and stop working.. but they do have a warranty on them, i guess its just a pain to send it back...

Mine didn't warp. It broke the set screws out then just flapped in the wind.

most people get leaks because they open the valve under load. If you are going to open it, make sure your at idle or your foot is down on the clutch..

I was talking to the owener of Needswings and he will help you if you have any problems. he immediatly gave me a return number and I will send it out as soon as i get some cash to mail it!

Also, while talking to him, he said that he opens his ANY time and has never had a problem, i think its all luck of the draw!

The warping actually took a few months. Plus the cutout would stay open when I wanted it to close. I needed to hit the butterfly with something and have the button pressed.

I just leave the plate on until I go to the track. Too loud for the street.

Ahh i c! Maybe it's an east-coast thing? Yeah opening it at idle helps alot more because i've never seen anyone open it while rollign

You guys really think opening the cutout from a roll will screw it up? Almost everytime I've opened mine was from a roll.

No warping at all yet. That's with 20+ drag passes, opening and closing on the highway god knows how many times (both for races and just to hear it), submersing it under brake caliper deep puddles, 2 12-15 minute blasts on the tail of the dragon :weeeeeeee oh and a few autocross runs, 7 dyno runs and blah blah blah.... and I've had no problems with it (aside from the first cutout that died for some unknown reason).

That shit is awesome though. That turbo whine at idle is so ominous like it's going to eat someone's baby

OH ok.. and yes i agree i drove with it open for 5 minutes and there were cops everywhere.. people were flippin me off, my ears were ringing from the sound.. tooo much lol

EDIT: Hey guys did anyone have to turn their MBC down when they put the pipe on? It says to do that in the directions but i havent noticed an increase in boost really..

haha ok well i tried it today.. i turned down my BC.. my boost didnt raise at all, i dropped down to like 16-17 instead of 18-19.. so im turnin her back up a turn or so lol

i cant believe how loud it is... funny i opened it tonight @ like 130 and drove around town just for some fun.. lol everyone in shitty ass rockaway is awake now.. oh and i WAS boosting 20lbs so its possible that when open i gained a few psi, i started pulling timing like a mother
