View Full Version : slotted rotors???
I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with the mopar supercenter rotors, or the powerslot cryowhatever rotors. I'm in need of new rotors, and I thought I would ask you guys first before purchasing some. Thanks in advance.

Contact PSIchick, she has the mopar supercenter stg 1 rotors. I was actually thinking of getting these for my rears and getting a stoptech system for the front. My stockers do NOTHING for me.
Carefull putting Big Brakes on there Hozay cuz then you probably wont be able to fit a good slick for track days. I was thinking about the moparsupercenter stage II front rotors. There lightwieght, look cool, provide better stopping power and are the same size as the stock brakes.

pfffft. I can give two shits. I'm not a drag racer. I'll run my car before I get a big brake kit and that'll probably be the end of that. :bandit:
is there any difference in feel when breaking hard if you have big on back n small up front..?

/\ you mean as in having big brakes in the rear and small in front.
Aside from probably having to look in your rear view mirror once you spin around from having to much rear brake bias nothing.
The front of the car (in almost every vehicle) does most of the braking and should have most of the braking power. Notice how much smaller our rear calipers and rotors are to the front? The reason for that is because having the same size brake components in the rear would be over kill and would just need to compensated for with the proportioning valve anyway.
So having big brakes in the rear and stockers in the front would be bad.
hozay dont worry about wheels fitting slicks. You are getting at set of 16x9's and are going to run a 28 tall slick on that bitch, cut 1.5 60's and SMACK EVERYONE like the ho's they is. wErD.

psichick w/the mopar supercenter rotors. the powerslots are ok for the street. the key is what pads are you using and for what? if it's for the street, slotted rotors and street pads are fine. good luck.
