Wierd beeping noise

When I am in second and start boosting over 3k rpms, I hear a little beep/whistle sound
I read about the brake fluid thing and at first thought it was that, but the light does not come on and the sound is a little different
The sound is inconsistent kind of fades in and out
It’s definitely not the same sound the break light makes when the e-brake is on while moving
It only happens in second at 3k+rpms and boosting about 5psi or more, no other gears

Yes it doest sound like its coming from the dash and possibly the engine
It just gets annoying and would like to get rid of it

well, if its the same sound that I'm referring to .. mine isnt loud at all. As a matter of fact, i dont even hear it most of the time, because i'm not paying attention (or i'm used to it lol)

I asked this same question a while ago on the Forum's. It's a very, very faint whine at WOT, not the Turbo. I was told that it was the accesories...

yeah, its DEF not the turbo .. but its soooo faint that its hard to tell where its coming from

i get it too...but mines LOUD and it sounds more like i have a supercharger, but i forget if i hear it only when my radio is on or what, it might be if you have the radio on your getting feedback from the Turbo spinning SOOOO fast you know?

question: Do any of you with the noise HAVE a sri intake? I had that sound when I had my Injen one.

a grounding kit will probably solve it. Its never really bothered me, just another noise to add to this sound box.

i acctualy heard mine before i got my AGP SMM's ;)

and it realy only happened at WoT when my Turbo spooled up

it sounds alot like a super charger
