Brian, if you reference that webpage HPDE1 group one is perhaps sold out and on standby wait list. That is most likely the novice/beginner group. OH-btw I'm not driving. This post was a general FYI.

After watching Howard's video, I'm jonesing to do this. But as usual, I'll pass. I will do this at least once next year. I just feel like driving 4+ hours to do it. Maybe Pocono???

I would be down for this if I hadn't just swapped over to the snows, I will have a set of ssr comps soon but not in time for this.

Picking up a used set for a guy off evo-ny for a G, basically brand new 17 x 8.5 with stock advans on them. 14.9 lbs each I believe.

Congrats...those SSR's are the hottest things on the used market now...w/limited availability. The 8.5 wheel is about 15-16 lbs (ballpark) which is outstanding. You can pick them up like they are frizbees. I take it these will be your track wheels?
