I learned a very important today I'd like to share with everyone...

When working on your car, make sure to disconnect the battery before you start!

Not because you'll run a risk of eletricuting yourself, but also because you'll run the battery dead...

also....do not grab a power wire when its smoking and the plastic is melting off and its glowing, no matter how affraid you are of it burning your car/truck down

Yeah that's a good lesson too...

Any ideas why the car smells like smoke? I jump started it and everything works fine, even the satellite radio I just installed... I drove it around and it was fine until I gas'd it a little, I smelled smoke, pulled over and couldn't find anything. I tapped the power for the radio into the cigerette lighter
