Any interests for "Other Regions" forums?? cali, texas, etc..

I've seen a couple interests for other regions such as Cali, Texas, etc... I would like to see if this is something worth doing. If we can get enough traffic to use them, I'll be happy to get them up. Any interests?? What sections should we put up?? Post up!:bandit:

plus its just one more section for post whoring. it hasnt been too bad thus far in the specific sections i have to admit. just a thought. Its actually been completly kept in w/s with the exception of a few random ones. lol I say include everyone it seems kinda biased (towards the east coast) that we have only have tri-states right now.

IMH(umble)O: This should be a site where all srt-4 owners can come to gain both comradery and information. I understand its just taking off but this site has the opportunity to become the largest/only nationwide srt-4 club on the net. Big goal, not impossible in anyway. Ill start posting up in other tuners forums trying to inform srt-4 owners of the clubs/sites existance tommrow morning.
That would do alot to get this site a phenominal boost in members.

I'm iffy on the idea. we cant even group our own like we use to. I think we need more ideas(like this new site, definetly brought attention) to create incentive to our already exsisting members to be active rather then just pile on other states that we cant even really meet up with.

I think hozay is doing a great job so far on getting the ball rolling and adding new ideas to the club in order to bring us together. I think adding states in the future would be a better idea, but for now.... get who we already have, active.

agreed, but there's only so much that we can do, to get these guys active. There's a "meeting" point -- usually its 50/50 :) -- Admins that try to get people active but the people still gotta WANT to meet up and be more active.

I agree with Mo 100%.....there's alot of guys that have been banished or just left srtforums because the site went po po...so give cali a home..and im sure it will be prosperous...no matter what...NJ/NY/PA are still going to know whats going on with meets and local gatherings and club stuff....things are still going to get done with or without another section opened...plus club buisness will always be the no.1 objective. so gets some mods elected....hozay or I will open up the section...and we can keep going on our marry way

As long as there are sufficient folks available to moderate the sections then we should be OK. The admins and moderators would need to commit the extra time for those sites. Going bigger is good providing you have the resources to handle it.

As far as specific states, I think only TX and CA need to be added at the moment, but a section for the south east, south west, etc.. in general would be good to have also.

We should also get riven to become a supporting vendor here ;)

regarding new sections ..... just because Cali is not near NY/NJ/PA doesnt mean that they cant be added. Like Mike said, we'll still be meeting up and shit. But my thought on the whole thing is that if Cali opens up. Maybe that area will spark interest in neighboring areas....then before you know it, there will be similar to a "NY/NJ/PA" out there.

If we start having different section that means more people which is good but at the same token that means there will be many more people starting threads in there sections. Which means there will be many sense less threads that will be started. I think from keeping this sit going down the hole we need to keep a close eye on everything that goes on in every section and pointless thread should be deleated right away. besides that everything else will be fine.

and every section has there place for everything

giving cali and texas a place to come and chat is a good thing

I'm totally down for a So Cali chapter. I'm with a small group of guys in So Cali. However if the West Coast states could get organized it would be a sweet deal. I would love to have a Las Vegas meet with guys from NV. It's something I'm actually trying to plan now. Eventually we could have a National meet and hook up with you guys on the East Coast. I've seen your pics and you guys roll deep. If we could get Cali on point the national meet would be off the chain.

You always want to think big. Don't place a limit on yourselves just because another group couldn't accomplish something. This site is new and fresh. I admire the way you as a whole are welcoming new ideas and members. Keep this attitude and you will grow. The site will become extremely productive creating opportunities for you to expand even bigger. The earning potential for this endeavor is enormous. You guys will be able to fund some wild and crazy meets. Keep up the good work L8SHIFT....:lol:

I totally agree expanding into regoinal forums would help diversify and unite people with the simular intrest in cars,meets,mods,etc.the problem is when people get outta hand with the B.S. it ruins it for everyone.Ive seen on this forum there is a place for th B.S. if it is kept there and the others forums are left to be constructive and informational the possibilities for a great forum are endless.Just my .01,(saving for more mods)

Its all about how you control it. The sensless threads SHOULD be kept in the w/s and rants section. To limit this club to the east coast only is not the way to expand. The moderators have the capability and balls to keep people in line, therefore I take back my comment about useless threads. I feel that there are no negative drawbacks to opening up new locations for this site. IF anything it would just include that many more veteran tuners who could help this site grow.

Just imagine this you post up at 9 in the morning here its what three hours behind over there. We post up at say 1 am over here, they get it at 12. What im trying to say is that this site would be busy/ACTIVE for three extra hours of the night/early morning. Its a win win, just need some extra "guns"/mods to keep it under control.

I agree with expanding the site and allowing other clubs to join the srt4mation websight. Like others have stated, Srtforums.com is to much like a dictatorship. If you say something they don,t agree with they ban you. People are tired of those high school nerd moderators and are looking for different web sights. Lets give them a better choice!

I vote yes to a cali section all the way. I dont know about others, but I myself feel very limited to what I can and can not do on srtforums. Its almost like we have someone on our backs all the time. As soon as I found about this site, I signed up and spend more time here then there. Personaly I like the atmosphere better and the folks seem to be more chill.
Hozay, you have done a great job with this site, I am sure us cali folks will be more then happy to tell other about this site. You will def get more traffic in the site, expanding will be good. More sections, more people, more vendors etc......Someone mentioned something abou the mods and admi on the site would have to work harder, just assign section mods to deal with that section. But a cali section would be awesome.
If you do plan on setting up a new section, I would be more then happy to keep and eye on the cali fellas. :)

on one hand is a good idea cause this will expand our community and people will learn about their car ok so thats great they can have (the cali ) and any sorrounding states their meets like we ( NY NJ PA) have our meets. than i dont knoe eventually like that other guy said we can all drive down to the middle of the us and meet up .

open up a cali section c how it goes for a few weeks meaning the response the cali people are giving to that section and if all goes well than open up anoda section . basicly open it up give it a sorda probation period if it looks like a legid thing than bam make it official than look at what state u wanna open up next and do the same thing.. if a section dont work out than just poof vanish it i guess

I'm liking what I'm hearing..

If Cali is serious about getting involved with our forums, I will definitely include a section of your own. I would love to get as many people as I can get involved in our site. I respect srtforums for what they have and done. We built this club and site as an alternative to what we already had.

I will look into the Cali section today. I will need all the help I can get out there as well. We had New England gunho about joining up and they quickly collapsed. I dont want to see the same thing happen with you guys.

how many midwest ppl do i have to get here to get a midwest section. i doubt it would be worth it to have a wisconsin section since no one is even on the wisconsin thread in srt4forums. but there some good stuff in the midwest. chicago has some good stuff and so does toledo. i'll try and get some of them over here if thats ok?
