Question related to this. My stock gauge went. I ordered a new one off prosportgauges.com Real good place btw. Anyways...so I'm trying to get the dash apart and it's a bitch. I take out the 2 side screws and the 2 side pillars. Anything else I'm missing? It's real loose in the front and sides but the back which is next to the front windshield, doesn't want to budge at all. Any idea? Am I missing something? Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There are two screws IN the defroster vent on both sides.

Isn't the defroster vent right underneith where the glass curves upwards? How you get a screw driver in there? I didn't go outside and look yet, but I'll do it tomorrow since I got no light left.

mark, go to autozone and pick up some vaccumm line and use that. the line starts by the brake booster and goes through the gromet in the firewall up to the dash-board into the gauge. i founf my stock plastic boost gauge line was all kinked up and causing my gauge to read wrong. just get some good line

Hey guys, so I got my boost gauge in but having wiring problems. I got a prosportgaugues.com mechanical boost gauge. Hoping someone else here has one. There's a green/red/black/white wire from the gauge. I got my 2 from the car, black and white. How should the wiring go because it's not working for me? I did, black grounded from gauge. Red from gauge to car black. Now I have a white remaining from car and a white and green from the gauge. Which do I need and which goes to the white from the car? Do I do, white on white or the white from car to the green? I know you can say, try it, well I have and nothing is working. Wondering what your setup is. Thanks!

usually you have to wire it into a power source that is always on during ignition. like the wipers.. idk if you wanna use tha wire though

Well, I believe the the white wire is that. The little manual it came with said the parking light. Would that be the white wire from the car or is it completely different?
