While tuning my mapclamp yesterday I noticed after the 4th run that my gauge suddenly didn't work anymore. The needle didn't even move. It was fine up until that point.
I looked under my hood to see if there was anything noticeable but it wasn't really light enough to see. I did hear a hissing noise. Something definately let go.
Where is the vac line for the boost gauge? is there even a vac line that runs to the gauge? I think that hissing sound is my problem. I checked all other connections and everything is golden.
Please help.
Thanks

If there's a hissing sound and your boost gauge doesn't work anymore I would take an educated guess and say the line blew off. Under the hood is a diagram that shows where the gauge gets it's source from, I think it's off the Brake Booster.
Just curious; what Map Clamp are you using and do you like it?

yea man.. I pulled off the strut bar and took out the cold air intake. I was able to remove that harness attached to bracket behind brake fluid. the vaccum line was disconnected! So tight in there it was hard to re-attach and zip-tie.
Has this happend to anyone?

you tuned it yourself? Its that easy? Some people told me not to tune it myself and let the pros handle it. They say its too dangerous to mess with unless you know exactly what your doing.

The only thing I've heard is that you must have Wideband. Other than that I've never heard it was difficult.
