Dude, race anyway. Not like those mounts are gonna get rid of the wheel hop. Especially on street tires.

my car needs a full makeover :( .. this sunday im doing oil/rad flush/trans fluid and im gonna attempt putting on my exhaust by myself this way i dont have to bother brian or anyone else to stand in the cold and do it for me.. i think i can handle it since ill have access to a lift.. then after that i SHOULD have the $ for the fender to be painted and put on.. then ill attempt running on my bald street tires ;)

I think they close the staging lanes at 9:30pm. Try not to get there too late. Maybe they close the gates at 8:30pm or 9:00pm.

Let me tell EVERYONE on this board, the JLM motor mount is worthless at the track. On the street it does a very decent job in removing wheel hop. Last night my times were HORRIBLE again due to wheel hop. Best 60 was 2.2, on DR's with a 108 trap. To much torque i guess... :(

I only got 2 friggin runs in. WAY TO MANY CARS!!!! The staging lanes were full like I haven't seen before. Good night for racing just not as good as I would of liked.

Did a 13.6@105 with the car missing like a big dog. Then I did a 15something@97 (OWNED!!!).

Gonna throw in some new plugs and wires today and hope for the best.

Oh well. Back to the drawing board and planning to race next Friday.

And to top it off before I left las night I reset the ecu and my emanage settings. The car was running great after I left with my A/F ratios at about 11.5. So this morning I want to log a pull from 3rd gear and everything on the screen looked great. A/F was between 11.5 and 12.00. The car pulled really hard but when I was done with my pull my exit was coming up so I had to start slowing down as I get to the exit I hear a rattling noise coming from the passenger side. I realized the noise was coming from the engine bay so I was still in third gear and I punched it to see what kind of response I get. The car felt strong and the rattling didn't get louder so I pulled over to see what was going. I popped the hood and the sound was like valve tapping. I pressed on the gas gradually while still hanging out of the car to see what I can hear and the rattling a little louder. Don't know what it could be but here are a couple things I think it could be:

-Spun a rod bearing :ouch:
-Rod knock :ouch:

Vic, since you dont have a scope to listen, take a long ass screwdriver and put one end the head and the other end to your ear and listen to hear any noises... if its normal you should just hear a whooshing sound, otherwise you will hear some tapping. If its some bottem end damage, open the hood, and put your head by the bottom of the car and gently push your TB cable to rev the engine. IF its bottom end damage, it will sound liek the highschool marching band in there.

i had a crappy night. only got 2 runs in and i got booted out of hom on both runs. so i ended up doing a 12.9@106....blah. i tried to use 110 octane and i guess it's not enough, so back to C16 for me!

Your getting kicked out of HOM with 110 octane?? Are you using the new stg3 wastegates? Or have something else working magic to bump you out with such high octane?

We are boosting 26-27psi w/ 23-24 @ redline. The boost hasn't adapted to the weather and I can't figure out why, not that I'm complaining, but the cold air combined with the boost = no hom...

Just figured the car would have adapted and dropped the boost to normal stage 3 winter psi of 20-21 and then the car would have been fine...

and a mix of 50/50 93 and 110, 2.5 gallons each respectively...

When you drop out of HOM, the computer goes into a sort of failsafe, and retards the timing all the way back. So you actually end up with less power than pump gas. Sucks, but its safe...
