View Full Version : Enkei RPF1(silver) or 5Zigen FN01R-C (matte black)
Which one's fellas? I'm a big fan of the enkei's but i'm not to sure if they would look good on a neon. I also love the 5zigen's and I think they would look BA. So it's up to you guys. Both will be 17x8, in the colors below. The enkei's are only 100 more shipped.

i would go for the RPF-1's in silver...i think silver on a black car look amazing, especially a nice rim like the rpf-1. the 5zigens are awesome too but im personally not a fan of black on black. black rims are terrible to keep clean(brake dust) and the enkies are pretty rare on an srt-4.
do some photoshops and then decide, either way you go, your car is f#$king amazing:rofl:

i agree...but the matte black is pretty nice. you could compare it to a semi-gloss finish. when its clean, it looks good
Not a fan of hyper black at all. Ghetto photoshops in 5....4....3.....2.....1.....

something about black on black just doesn't appeal to me, which is why I like more of a gunmetal color wheel for a black car.

16's FTW, although my second set may be a 17x8 for a wider R-comp tire. If not it'll be another 16x7 wheel. I'm still wishing I didn't sell my other set of wheels this past fall. Now I've gotta get a new set of wheels and R-comps

back on topic, go with the RPF1's I don't think I've seen one SRT with them on yet.

I'd choose neither personally but that's me. The 5zigens are ok but over priced & discontinued so people are overcharging them even more these days. The enkei's have a nice weight on them so if I HAD to chose I would go with them.

RpF1's FTW!!!! they are amazing wheels. And not many SRt owners have them, they will look great on your car. F10C's are played out.
Thanks for all the responses. I'm gunna go with the RPF1's. I was only able to dig up 2 srt's with them. Thanks guys.

RPF1's
I ordered the rims this afternoon. :yay: Im gunna go with 235/40/17 Falken Azenis RT-615s :D Any input on these would be appreciated. They have a nice tread pattern and rating. And are fairly inexpensive. Im not worried about milage because I don't drive the neon that far and i have winter wheels.
They will be at my house on Wednesday they shipped today.

RT 615 is a great performance tire for the money. SUCKS in the rain, just SUCKS so be very careful in heavy rain or any rain for that matter. Sidewalls are stiff which is good. If your going to auto-X them my only complaint would be that they loose grip towards the end of the session.
Overall for the money it's a HARD very HARD tire to beat. What offset did you get? And be prepared to roll your fenders.
35mm, My rear fenders are rolled remember the rust?haha Getting them painted in the spring but before I do I plan on rolling the front as well just incase i have to get them painted as well.
By the way Frank how is everything going?

I remember that your on coilovers. With a 35mm offset and a 40 sidewall (depending on how low your car is) your going to roll the fronts. So do it now and have both painted in the spring. I can get you a good deal on that.
As far as how is everything going...Let's just say State Police Academy is the hardest thing I have and will ever have to do in my life. I cannot elaborate but there is a reason why there is an average of a 35-40% attrition rate in the Academy.
God bless you man and good luck with everything hope it goes well.
As for the paint I remember you saying you had someone in the family who did yours. I'll let you know when im ready for it.

I've had two sets of the RT-615's and I've never had any issues in the rain. I've had just as much confidence driving them in a downpour on the PA Turnpike as I do when it's dry. Also as far as loosing grip at the end of session, it's very true. These tires do not like excessive heat. One way to solve that problem though on an auto-x course though is to bring a water sprayer with you and spray the tires down in between runs. I've auto-x'd on the 615's for two seasons now and will be upgrading to R-comps this year :woot: with the 615 still being my street tire
