nitrous question!

yeh..im thinking about running a 50 or 75 shot..my car is going to be built up with a stage three soon..soo..but anyways...do u need suporting mods ssuch as pistons and connecting rods and like cams and stuff...or can i just run like a dry or wet shot...and does it do alot of damage to the car?...like the turbo because im hearing all of this stuff like the turbo will burn out

and what should the air fuel ratio be at idealy?...like what would it be on a daily driver basis

i think for a 50 or 75 shot you dont need anything special like rods and pistons. but when you get higher and higher you do need that stuff

stock and a 50 shot should be ok,stage 3 and 50 shot is pushing it

Do urself a favor, and forget about the Nos, and get urself a water/meth kit with that it is like runing HOM with out the racegas, and ur only paying for the price of Pump Gas.. And u will get the same gains as running a 50 or 75 shot of the laughing gas.. And IMO is Safer..

Yes W/I is safer because by itself it adds very little power. If you tune with W/I you can get some power out of W/I. Now saying that a 50-75 shot of spray will be the same as a W/I kit is just insane. My first dyno with a untuned 75 shot and with a 17 spike and 14 hold on a S2 WGA I got 360HP and 440Tq. Show me you W/I kit that does that. The curves looked like crap cause I was way fat and on and on but the fact is that a close to stock car it is realistic to get 350hp and 400 Tq without hurting parts. You need some saftey stuff and some self control to not just up the jets but a 75 shot is way fun. Check out the nitrous forum over on srtforums, there is a ton of knoledge over there.

There is a shop in avenel,nj that refills bottles its called RoadRunner. Not to local to you but to get the bottle filled once in a while its not to bad.

If you live by ronkonkoma on long island. there is a performance shop called speedway performance on lakeland ave off of ocean ave. im pretty sure they have nos and meth. but thats not 100% sure. try them.
