I was thinking of spray painting my back light black and my side markers is that a bad idea and will it ocme out nice? let me know

its not a bad idea at all, just dont go to dark or the cops might be up your ass like they were with me lol. but they look real good when done

i know you probally havent seen my car...red srt...but the trails are DARK i let my friend drive my car because i wanted to liisten to my exhaust at the time...but like ui was looking at the tails and u barley could see them..but idc..haha its nj...depending on what town you are in u should be good..like old bridge doesnt care.

i had my tails sprayed black and you cant see the bulbs that much. the car looked nice but i got stopped constantly by the cops because they thought my tails weren't working.

Since then, i put the rockblocker on them (instead of spraying them) and you can see the light much better. just my suggestion

Yeah, you could barely see the lights during the day but at night it wasn't too bad. You could spray them red, thats what i did and i like it alot better or get rockblocker like Nyydynasty suggested.

when you spray the tails, what clear coat do you use?

i didnt use a clear coat honestly becauase you put as many coats as you want...1 layer wont b e as dark as like the 3 or 4th...and be like 10 or 12 inches away...if u want a nice glossy finish get a little closer..just have to be carefull about running

i didnt use clear coat either. although clear coat will not allow you to see the lights any better, it will make it look nicer with a glossy finish
