I am on the stock turbo right now, I installed S2 injectors yesterday, and I need some help! Here's what I have done. S1 pcm, S2 injectors, AGP returnline, PTP map/tip clamp, BFMIC, 3" O2-side exit exhaust, AGP cai, sbr wga, hallman pro mbc. Parts that are coming in, and/or here and need installed FBM Mammoth turbo and manifold, 2.0 cams, Fidanza gears, and dtec.
Here's my tune before the S2 injectors
Clamped 4.15V,
22psi spike 16psi hold
Fuel Pressure @58psi
A/F's were 12.2~11.8
After the S2 injectors
Clamped 4.0V
19psi spike 15 hold
Fuel Pressure @42
My a/f's hit 12.5-6 and fall fast into the 11's and hit 10.7 at redline.
Is this too much fuel to control with just a map clamp?

How are your AFR's going LEAN on the bottom and rich on the top???
You should be lean on the top and rich on the bottom

I have no idea. That's what my wideband says. It's brand new, so I dont think the sensor is bad or anything like that. I'm thinking it might have something to do with the map clamp.

Get that DTEC in and you'll be able to add or pull out as much fuel as you want.

If it rains today, I'll prob start putting the Dtec in. Does anyone have a decent base map, something to start with for when I get it installed?

ask bungles... he loves his d tec :)
its lean because the fuel pressure is too low. If you set the base pressure to around 52 it should have a similar output to stock injectors at 58psi. Setting the base pressure at 42psi is less than the stock injectors so it will come in lean. it will still fatten up more up top because the regulator is 1:1. Bring the pressure up close to 50 and then pull out more fuel up top.

I'm going to set the fuel pressure to 50-52, like you said, but right now I'm just using the ptp map/tip clamp to tune with, and it already is rich at redline. I'm going to start the dtec as soon as tomorrow! Does anyone have a base map for my mods? Just something close to get me started in tuning it.

What Jay did and what I'll do is take it out on a safe road and do some WOT pulls.
It'll be a little more difficult to tune if you are not logging your air/fuels through their Tunerbox.
Focus on the 100% TPS column area on the very right side only. I also only pulled out fuel from about 3000 rpm to 5600rpm. And those % ranged from 9% - 25%. 25% going towards redline.
That's the best way to get a street tune.
I also have 750cc injectors and S1 so I need to pull out more fuel than you might. And remember to keep the tune safe :D
Good luck and don't blow shit up :thumb:
One last thing, if you really want your tune dialed in, ask Jay about getting your car dyno tuned. His tuning prices are reasonable and you'll be very happy with the results.

Thanks for all the info Bungles! I'm going to get started on this soon. I'll post back if I run into any trouble, and let you know how things went. I'll just have a buddy, or my girlfriend ride with me while I tune it and keep an eye on my wideband, and boost gauge.
