Reedman Toll in Langhorne, PA.
Never take your car there. Car went into the shop with a fairly new clutch... about 9 months old. Still fresh none the less. Went in there for a tapping sound. No biggie im at 34k and should be under warranty. ( The clutch was replaced before summer basically when they said it was on its way out))
Anyhow turns out motor threw a rod. Now this oil is changed reg. 3k miles. I have EVERY receipt for oil changes. But none the less, they wouldnt replace the motor unless i replaced the clutch, because according to them this is the same clutch that was originally in there. And they wont even view the reciept i have. Its another OEM clutch in there. But now i have to pay roughly 1700$ just for them to put the shortblock into the car. However im getting the whole 9 yards, new turbo, everything.
But its among the principle that they wouldnt just replace the motor itself. I would say that clutch has about 65% life, so yeah.
Im just highly upset and needed to vent. i appologize, but after the car gets fixed im more than likely trading it in on maybe a new Trailblazer or something. I have a little girl coming next month and i dont think she would enjoy the skittle with the sportlines on it. lol
